Bringing Dignity, Comfort, and Care to Forgotten Elders
At SAHAYA, we believe that the true measure of a society lies in how it treats its elders. Sadly, many senior citizens in India are spending their final years in isolation, struggling to meet even their basic daily needs. With no family support, no financial stability, and limited access to healthcare or nutrition, they live quiet lives in old age homes — often unseen and unheard.
Through our Old Age Home Aid initiative, we are reaching out with consistent care and resources to elderly residents in facilities across Delhi, Gurugram, and Odisha. But this is just the beginning. Our goal is to support many more elders across India, ensuring they don’t just survive — but live with dignity, comfort, and human connection.
How We’re Helping
Every month, SAHAYA provides essential support to three partner homes by delivering groceries, hygiene items, bedsheets, clothing, adult diapers, and seasonal supplies like blankets and fans. These materials bring relief, but what truly touches hearts is the effort, consistency, and love behind them.
Our team doesn’t simply drop off packages — we spend time listening to stories, checking in on health needs, and bringing the warmth of human presence into places that often feel forgotten. Many residents tell us it’s not the items they remember, but the kindness.
Your contribution can help us increase the number of homes we serve, improve the quality of aid we provide, and add more meaningful touchpoints to every elder’s day. Whether it’s a single kit, a monthly contribution, or spreading awareness — every gesture brings us closer to our goal.
